Britain's Anthony Joshua knocked out Ukraine's Wladimir Klitschko in 11 rounds to win the WBA heavyweight title. The fight took place at Britain's Wembley stadium. 27 year-old Joshua is now 19-0 in the professional circuit, now owns the WBA and IBF titles. Only the WBC title remains. The Portuguese netted his 367th league goal making him the all-time highest goal scorer in Europe’s top six leagues. The former record holder was Tottenham legend Jimmy Greaves who had 366 league goals in 566 appearances. He also played for Chelsea, AC Milan and West Ham United. He started his career in Sporting Lisbon and moved to Manchester United in 2003 where he gained reputation and won his first Ballon d'Or award. He later moved to Real Madrid in 2009 where he has won three Ballon d'Or awards and two UCL titles.

For the fourth year in a row, Singapore is the most expensive city in the world. That's according to the Economist Intelligence Unit's annual Worldwide Cost of Living survey, newly released for 2017. To determine the rankings, the EIU compares the prices of more than 400 products and services worldwide, including food, drink, clothing, household supplies, and transportation. Each city is then ranked in comparison to New York on the World Cost of Living (WCOL) Index, with New York assigned a score of 100. Other cities earn a relative score, where a one-point increase or decrease equates to a 1% change in the cost of living. Asian cities dominate the list, with Singapore and Hong Kong earning the top two spots. At No. 9, New York was the only place in the United States to crack the top 10. Manchester United has revealed plans to honour Nigerian football fans who died last week following an accident in the south-eastern city of Calabar. The tragedy, which claimed the lives of at least seven people, happened when an electric cable fell on fans watching a Manchester United match on TV. The English club tweeted that its players will wear black armbands on Sunday in memory of the victims. English football has a large and passionate following in Nigeria. The high-tension cable fell on a crowded shack which was showing the Europa League quarter-final against Anderlecht. One witnesses said the building had a zinc roof which conducted the electricity to those watching inside. A US submarine has arrived in South Korea, amid worries of another North Korean missile or nuclear test. The missile-armed USS Michigan is set to join an incoming group of warships led by aircraft carrier Carl Vinson. North Korea is celebrating its army's 85th founding anniversary on Tuesday. It marked the event with a large-scale firing drill, South Korea said. Tensions have risen in the area in recent weeks, with the US and North Korea exchanging heated rhetoric. Experts fear Pyongyang could be planning more tests - it has marked some key anniversaries in the past with nuclear tests or missile launches. Isiaka Adeleke, the Osun West Senator who died suddenly yesterday in Oshogbo, the Osun State capital, was killed by an overdose of painkillers administered to him by an unqualified medical technician, SaharaReporters has learned. The Senator received the medication following complaints of serious pain in his legs at the beginning of day-long political rally and meetings. A source at the Osun State Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital said the late Senator recently began preparations to run for governor in the state in 2018.  On Saturday, he embarked on a series of political events, before heading out to the events he was complaining to his about the pain, and a quack administered the painkillers intravenously, relieving him of the pain.
