Ronaldo now all-time leading goalscorer in Europe


 Cristiano Ronaldo is now the all-time highest goal scorer in Europe's top six leagues

- He broke the record after scoring the first goal in Madrid's 2-1 win against Valencia

- He has now surpassed the former record holder Jimmy Greaves who had 366 goals

Cristiano Ronaldo has just broken an amazing record in Europe in Madrid's 2-1 victory against Valencia.

The Portuguese netted his 367th league goal making him the all-time highest goal scorer in Europe’s top six leagues.

The former record holder was Tottenham legend Jimmy Greaves who had 366 league goals in 566 appearances. He also played for Chelsea, AC Milan and West Ham United.

He started his career in Sporting Lisbon and moved to Manchester United in 2003 where he gained reputation and won his first Ballon d'Or award.

He later moved to Real Madrid in 2009 where he has won three Ballon d'Or awards and two UCL titles.
