FOOTBALL: FOUR CHELSEA PLAYERS WHO UNDERPERFORMED AGAINST CRYSTAL PALACE; PLAYER RATINGS

Chelsea's lead over Tottenham at the top of the Premier League was cut to seven points as 16th-placed Crystal Palace sealed a hard-fought victory against the league leaders.

Diego Costa - 5
A frustrating afternoon for the Spaniard, had a golden chance to get the equaliser and fluffed his lines. Efforts well saved by Wayne Hennessey as well, with the striker not on the end of multiple crosses.

Gary Cahill - 5
First time that Chelsea have conceded twice in a game since January and they needed a leader to stop the breaks. However, Cahill had a difficult afternoon that added to their fourth defeat of the season.

David Luiz - 6
Had his hands full with Benteke and was in a real battle from the start. Unlike Chelsea to be caught out at the back through a counter and would be disappointed they didn't deal with it better.

Pedro - 6
Not a wing-back, and feels wasted in that position. Defensively not right as well, and several balls he put in were just cleared away.
