This season, Manchester City and Tottenham have booked their spots in the knockout stages with two group games to spare. Manchester United are virtually certain to join them in matchweek five, when Liverpool and Chelsea can also qualify. Wizkid, Andela boss, others nominated for Young Persons of the Year Award Ayo “Wizkid’’ Balogun, Mary Njoku, Amaka Osakwe and Iyin Aboyeji are nominees for The Future Awards Africa’s Young Person of the Year Award, the organisers announced on Wednesday. The award for this year is themed “Nigeria’s New Tribe’’ and will hold on December 9 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. Bukunyi Olateru-Olagbegi, Chairman, Central Working Committee, The Future Awards Africa, said it was to celebrate and accelerate innovation among Nigerians aged 18 to 31. She said that the TFAA acknowledges inspiring young people making a difference through social enterprise, social good and creativity.
