FG To Speed Up Repatriating Migrants From Libya


The Federal Government is to speed up repatriating its citizens from Libya which has been accused of exploiting and ill-treating migrants, the foreign affairs minister, Geoffrey Onyeama, said in Tripoli on Saturday.

Onyeama told a news conference that Nigeria was chartering two aircraft to repatriate over the next few days 800 of its citizens who wanted to go home.

Almost 1,300 Nigerian migrants were brought home from Libya last November - nearly twice as many as in the previous month, the head of Nigeria's National Emergency Management Agency said in December.

Kizz Daniel Has Returned The Money We Paid Him To Perform’ – Babcock University Students Association Confirm

Babcock University Students Association has confirmed that Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel, who was held hostage by students of the University for refusing to perform after he was reportedly paid N3.5m, has returned the money. Yesterday it was reported that the superstar was held hostage by students of the institution after allegedly collecting N3m for a show and failing to show up for his performance.
